Job Overview:
Tutco-Farnam Custom Products is an industry-leading custom electric heating element manufacturer specializing in air heaters and flexible surface heaters.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping Associate.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents

- Lift and carry boxes to place onto pallet or rack

- Utilize freight portals and computer system to input shipment information and print packing slips

- Print and prepare shipping labels

- Coordinate with sales and production
- Unload trucks and inspect packages for damage
- Sort, label, and store received items in designated locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory movements
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform duties for daily shipments. Assist with packing when necessary. Communicate with customers and freight companies as needed to coordinate shipments.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other related software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Basic math skills for order fulfillment calculations
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or reach trucks
- Ability to be a team player

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
